Why leftists might care less about individual privacy than the rest of us

Maybe you've been there.  They don’t allow open debates where intellectual rivals can legitimate assertions based on sovereignty, Constitutional rights and legal protections.  They ban individual speakers from platforms because they cannot tolerate individual rights: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, personal responsibility and Swaraj, Ghandi’s term for Self-Rule. They would run out any and all platforming where students, thought-leaders and intellectual debates may legitimately take place as a tactical shut-out. Unless you think, identify and obey a left or facsist left leaning rhetoric, some institutions will never allow you to stand at a podium and produce one word of salted adversarial discussion.

More open and rival debate is needed because many Silicon Valley intellectuals have become quite enamored with giving away other people’s stuff and other people’s individual rights when it comes to the information space.  Globalists have made force driven arguments for keeping the data economy in an expansionist position against the interests of individual consent and personal property rights. They want the government to own everything, forfeiting the rights of the individual. Unfortunately, most globalised policy makers and their intellectuals are opposed to hearing from designated serfs.

There are a lot of Asian and Russian influences impacting the business community on the West Coast, particularly Silicon Valley and Seattle subsidiaries.  Eastern countries have taken it upon themselves to inject their way into our political machining, our intellectual property and our networks breaching vital Western infrastructure.  What people don’t understand yet is that this is what the Leftist wants:  aggression and dominance of capital commerce structure and consolidation of economic power in the hands of socialized governance. Perhaps they believe China and Russia can export communism to the U.S.

Eastern commerce is based on a top down government who owns everything, including the individual. Since they have dispensed largely with private property and individual rights they can use their global biometric identity scan from their IoT bracelet to pay for their fare on a public transit system. They don’t understand why we cannot play on terms with their identity-based economy as a form of global commerce. They do have allies internally in the United States among the political and intellectual Leftists and Globalists who want what they want.

"THIS IS WHAT PRIVACY LOOKS LIKE"

So what does privacy advocacy in a left leaning community look like? When you speak to them of privacy you get endless, meaningless pontifications, ivory tower discussion groups surrounded by plush free lunches where nothing of real consequence is produced, even though good information is shared.  It is also the reason why more power over individual data has been shifted to global commerce and governments in a force-bearing manner during the Obama era.  It appears they advocate for privacy and transparency.  It’s privacy for the government and transparent, visual, information liquidity for you, with or without your consent. It matters not to the global communist.  They only deal in data commerce. That commerce is meant for the East whether you benefit or not.

If you want to pull out of their economic model you have to start advocating for yourself in a very different and very assertive Western way. You have to start taking contracts seriously.  You have to start taking a closer looks at the players and beneficiaries of the Eastern economic agenda.

You don't owe them data. You don't owe them identity-as-commerce. You don't owe them.  If they come to collect on you, your identity, failure to pay is the resistance. They took without asking and more than they ever deserved. Protect yourself, your IP, your networks and your family.

If a leftist does care about privacy and information science it is because they can create a government job for someone from the left to organize your private affairs. Would they discriminate against Americans whom they don’t care for?  You can only tell if you hit the wall your taxes paid for when you are referred to their offices.  They will refuse to serve you.

So the only way for privacy to be really meaningful in the hands of a leftist bureaucrat is if there is an accountability system from an independent, non-political force in occasional systemic audits.  Good luck with an enforcement condition if they condone Institutional stonewalling. You will have to hire a class action army of lawyers substantiating harm to swell a damages bill that hurts local government really badly for going against legal protections granted to the individual.

The American left has to pick. Are their allegiances to their country and to individual rights or to foreign institutions who will overbear soverign rights? This might force an economic wedge between Eastern commerce liquidity they have been benefitting from on your back for over 15 years.

If they have been actively taking up a privacy single issue where there is no sea change and only gains against the individual are codified, you have your answer.  If there is no complaint or visible civic uprising about mass surveillance, you have your answer. If they can moderate the influences of their hive with magnanimity, allowing some speech to occur there is hope legal restitution can be made to individual rights to property and identity protections.

You may have better luck with an apolitical legal non-profit advocacy group. Perhaps a research center for American policy can lead you to results-based advocates in your body of government.   The proof of privacy concept will be in the votes. Votes will need to lead to legal enforcement to reinforce individual privacy rights.
